Stasavich Place

Stasavich Place is named in honor of Clarence Stasavich who served as Lenoir-Rhyne University head football coach from 1946 to 1961. He led LR to the NAIA Football National Championship in 1960. The street runs in front of the McCrorie Center, Shuford Gymnasium and is the main entry to Helen and Leonard Moretz Stadium.
