Shuford Arena
Shuford Arena has been home to the Lenoir-Rhyne men’s and women’s basketball teams as well as the Bears' volleyball program since the 1956-57 season. It has a capacity of 2,300 and was erected in the memory of the late A. Alex Shuford Sr. The student section, referenced as Bear Nation, welcomes LR students with free admission to all home athletic events. LR athletic events typically have the largest attendance for fans in the entire South Atlantic Conference.
