Join us for a thought-provoking exploration of gender dynamics shaping the 2024 electoral landscape. This presentation discusses the current state of gender and politics, highlighting novel research on Republican women mobilization and providing insights into the political and gendered electoral landscape of 2024.
Shannon McQueen, Ph.D., is an assistant professor in the Political Science Department at West Chester University, where she teaches courses on identity politics, women in politics and public opinion. Her research interests include gender, state politics and identity politics. She explores the importance and influence of women's involvement in politics, the mobilization of women’s groups, and the institutional, cultural and policy obstacles women face when running for office.
