Lenoir-Rhyne University is proud to welcome Dr. Summer McGee as LR's 13th president and the first woman to hold this role in the university’s history. A nationally recognized leader and educator, Dr. McGee brings a proven record of innovation, growth and community engagement that has transformed every institution she has served.

This special Presidential Tour is your opportunity to connect with Dr. McGee personally, hear her vision for LR’s future and celebrate this historic moment for our university. With her dynamic leadership, deep commitment to students and passion for higher education, Dr. McGee is eager to meet LR alumni and friends across cities along the eastern United States.

The Presidential Tour will include the following stops: 

• Sunday, Nov. 16, 3-6 p.m., Triangle area
• Sunday, Dec. 14, 3-5 p.m., Triad
• Sunday, March 1, 3-6 p.m., Gastonia
• Sunday, March 29, 3-6 p.m., Columbia
• Sunday, April 19, 3-6 p.m., Mt. Pleasant (Charleston)
• Sunday, April 26, 3-6 p.m., Charlotte
