DESCRIPTION:Join us on this 6.0-mile loop trail near Burnsville\, North Car
 olina. Generally considered a highly challenging route\, it takes an avera
 ge of 3 hours and 11 minutes to complete and should only be attempted by e
 xperienced adventurers. This is a very popular area for birding and hiking
 \, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. The best times
  to visit this trail are April through October. Dogs are welcome but must 
 be on a leash.\n\nThe hike activity level is hard\, with most of the hike 
 being above 5000 ft in elevation. Required equipment includes a day pack w
 ith food and water. Hiking boots are recommended.\n\nIf you want to attend
  the hike\, RSVP using this Google Spreadsheet. If you can drive\, please 
 indicate if you are willing to drive and the number of open seats for othe
 r students. We will meet at LR in the Moretz Stadium parking lot at 9 a.m.
