Join us for Mental Health Awareness Week in Partnership with National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), Monday, February 17, to Friday, February 21, 2025. This important week is presented to foster meaningful conversations and provide resources that empower the campus community to prioritize mental health and well-being.

Mental Health Awareness Week aims to break the stigma surrounding mental health while creating a supportive environment where students, faculty and staff feel encouraged to seek help, support others, and cultivate positive coping strategies.

Week Highlights

Throughout the week, a variety of interactive and educational events will be hosted, including:

  • Workshops & Panels: Discussions led by mental health professionals, students, and community leaders.
  • Stress-Relief Activities: Yoga, mindfulness sessions and art therapy activities to promote relaxation.
  • Resource Fair: A showcase of campus and community mental health resources.
  • Keynote Speaker: A special guest speaker from NAMI will share insights and personal experiences to inspire hope and resilience.
  • Green Ribbon Campaign: Participants will wear green ribbons to show their commitment to mental health awareness.
