The LR Wind Ensemble and A Cappella Choir invite you to witness their collaborative concert to open up the call 2025 music season at LR. This concert is inspired by choir’s March 2026 tour retracing the route of the 1961 Freedom Rides, a journey through the American South that challenged injustice and ignited change. The program explores themes of courage, justice and the enduring pursuit of peace, culminating in a joint performance of the final movement of "Dona Nobis Pacem" by Ralph Vaughan Williams, specially arranged for wind band and choir. Doors open at 7:10 p.m. Free and open to the public.
