Lenoir-Rhyne University along with the Office of Multicultural Affairs will host the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., 3rd Annual Prayer Breakfast, Monday, January 20, 2025. A free breakfast will be served in the Cromer Center Dining Hall from 7-8:30 a.m., with musical performance by Aqua Moon & Friendz. The MLK Celebration program, 8:45-10 a.m., will be hosted in the P.E. Monroe Auditorium. The keynote speaker will be Rev. Kermit Moss of Luthern Theological Southern Seminary (LTSS), along with LRU/LTSS and community presenters. This event is free and open to the public. The Hickory NAACP and Hickory youth will lead the unity march from P.E. Monroe at 10:30 a.m.
