A chapel service, with the Rite of Installation of the Rev. Todd Cutter, director of spiritual life and university pastor, of the North Carolina Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.

The LR community is welcome to attend the installation service and celebrate the beginning of Pastor Cutter’s ministry at LR. The community will pray for the Holy Spirit’s blessing upon this call and the future work of the university and its new pastor. The Rev. Tim Smith, bishop of the North Carolina Synod of the ELCA, will officiate the Rite of Installation, and Dr. Mindy Makant, associate professor of religious studies and director of the Living Well Center for Vocation and Purpose, will deliver the homily.

In addition to leading chapel services at LR, Cutter supports faith-based groups on campus and strengthens relationships with community churches such as St. Andrews Lutheran Church, a neighbor to LR. He also serves as director of spiritual life.
