Due to winter weather conditions forecast for Wednesday evening, Feb.4, as well as lingering icy roadways in parts of the area, the "Careers. Well Crafted. Career Fair" has been rescheduled. While we are disappointed to postpone the event, the planning team believes this is the right decision to prioritize the safety of our students, employers, and community members. We appreciate everyone’s flexibility and understanding and look forward to hosting a safe and successful event next week.

“Careers. Well Crafted.” is a career fair that offers the chance to connect directly with local employers, explore job and internship opportunities, and learn about resources to help you take your next career step. Whether you’re looking for your first job, a career change or networking experience, this event is for you.

Designed as a more relaxed and approachable career fair, the event includes free professional headshots, résumé and interview support, mentoring from Hickory Young Professionals, and a coffee-and-snacks setting that encourages conversation and meaningful connections.

Prior to the career fair, the LR Career Center will be available for resume reviews and tips for success on Tuesday January 27 through Thursday January 29 between 11 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Cromer Center.

• Feel free to drive yourself and carpool - parking is free and on-site.
• A Christian Tours 25 passenger bus will be picking folks up and shuttling to the fair, in 30 minute increments
• Meet the bus behind Shuford Arena close to the side door in the Stadium Parking Lot F.
