Stop by P.E. Monroe Lobby from Aug. 19 - Nov. 1 and see the color blue through abstract means in artistic works created by three Lenoir-Rhyne alumni – Sophia Chung '20, Emily Kenley '19, and Dominic Taylor '21.

Sophia Chung has used hand-dyed cloth to create an abstract expressionist work which also plays with the notion of the traditional shape and form of works on canvas. Emily Kenley has created poured resin color field paintings that are intended to call attention to oceanic pollution. Dominic Taylor captures mood through digital manipulation of photographs.

The work comes together to create an exhibit which begs the question - what is blue to you?
