Bears Engage
Bears Engage 2025: Voices of America is a year-long series of events designed to educate, inspire, and foster meaningful conversations about life in America, especially as the nation approaches its 250th anniversary in 2026. Hosted by Lenoir-Rhyne University, this non-partisan series invites students, faculty and the the public to engage with timely topics such as civic engagement, public leadership, immigration, civil rights and the evolving meaning of democracy. Showcasing regional and national narratives through lectures, panel discussions, film screenings, service opportunities and student-led forums, we will amplify the many voices, past and present, that have shaped American democracy.
